We are community-forward, hosting adoption events for our local shelter, as well as first aid classes and obedience training throughout the year. Dancing Dog is locally owned and supports small businesses as being the strength in our community.
Dancing Dog is able to let a dog stay at the shop with us while visitors shop, dine and explore. Please don't leave your dogs in a hot car!Also for locals who need their dog watched for an hour or two, a half day or full day. We do not have a doggy day care in Idaho Springs- my rates are comparable to the closest, which is half an hour away.
Dancing Dog hosts 7-week basic obedience training classes throughout the year, with a certified and licensed trainer teaching a maximum of 8 dogs at a time. Contact the shop for the info on upcoming classes.

Dancing Dog occasionally hosts adoption events for our local shelter Charlie's Place (Clear Creek/Gilpin Counties Animal Shelter). We are closely involved with this wonderful no-kill shelter, doing volunteer work and fundraising, and donating dog and cat food as well as supplies.
