Dogs Paw East

The professionals at Dogs Paw in Park Rapids, Minnesota, are happy to be the area's trusted dog lodge and spa. For more than eight years of business, we have always made customer expectations our top priority. Our full-service pet boarding facility offers dog and cat boarding and grooming services, as well as dog obedience training and a selection of quality pet foods, toys, and treats. Owners, Deana and Kelly Deitchler live on-site and have 24-hour surveillance of the lodge.  

The staff at Dogs Paw love providing pets with a relaxing, fun pet boarding experience. Dogs are let out and played with a minimum of five times each day, starting at 7:00 a.m. and the last walk of the night is at 9:00 p.m. Dogs are grouped in playgroups throughout the day by size and temperament, and all groups have fresh water available and cozy bedding.

We also offer cat boarding.

Dogs Paw also offers a training session with our on-site trainer, Dean. Dean works with nearly every dog that visits Dogs Paw and offers on-site and in-home obedience sessions customized for your dog's and family's needs.

Dogs Paw offers high-quality grooming for all sizes and breeds of dogs. Our groomers are professionally trained and have a true eye and passion for grooming dogs and cats.  Every pet deserves a day of pampering at the spa!

Dogs Paw offers both dog and cat grooming. All of our groomers have gone through the Dog Gurus program and received certification. Our full-time groomers are AKC S.A.F.E. certified and attend grooming seminars for continued education about new grooming tools and techniques throughout the year. Deana, the owner, is a member of ISCC, a certified groomer with NDGAA for non-sporting breeds, and has more than 20 years of grooming experience. We strive to offer the safest care and utmost relaxation for your pet at the spaw! Prices vary by breed size, temperament, and coat condition, so we've provided some examples of popular breeds and their size categories below
