About Us

We are owned and operated by Save One Soul Animal Rescue League, a 501c3 non-profit dog rescue organization founded in Wakefield, RI in 2014, committed to helping homeless animals prepare for, find and succeed in loving forever homes.

Spoiling your pet with our quality products, advice and services can now be guilt free, as 100% of SOS reTAIL store profits go back to fund SOSARL charitable life-saving programs!

Save One Soul Animal Rescue is foster-based and volunteer driven, and dependent upon the generosity of private donors and adoption fees to continue our rescue efforts. The addition of the retail store, SOS reTAIL, has provided SOSARL with a sustainable funding source for our rescue efforts, as well as a physical gathering and meeting space for our volunteers and adopters, and an additional outlet to bring awareness for and support of animal welfare and quality support services and products. Since SOSARL's founding, we have placed and supported over 2700 dogs in forever homes, as well funded more than 350 private spay/neuters to help reduce unwanted litters. Training

We have partnered up with Bad Dog Basics to provide our guests with the very best dog training there is!

Group classes and free workshops are scheduled regularly.

Grooming

We have partnered with Pooch Parlor, an established, locally owned grooming business well-known for the quality of their cuts and service! Pooch Parlor offers full grooming services, as well as baths and nail trims, Tuesday through Saturday during store business hours.

Dog Wash

We offer two large stainless steel, self-wash bays and everything else you need to get Fido squeaky clean...and we do the cleaning! We offer Earthbath shampoo products, or you can bring your own. Last bath starts 30 minutes before closing.

Pet Adoption

We are deeply tied to Save One Soul Animal Rescue League and regularly host weekend adoption events as well as mid-week open house play dates featuring adoptable SOSARL dogs. Check SOSARL's events calendar for upcoming events and when they will next be at the store or around town!
