Central Bark Doggy Day Care

Here at The Bark, we pride ourselves on making personal relationships with clients, both human and canine, to make the daycare experience the best it can be! We are not a traditional "boarding kennel," we are something much, much more. Every dog that comes through our door can't wait to greet us in the morning, and many of them aren't too sure if they want to go home in the evening! All of our staff members treat each dog like our own, and pet parents are like extended family! We offer daycare, sleepovers (for established clients only), and our grooming department can do everything from a bath and nail trim to a full-service groom and haircut. Our in-house Master Groomer is one of the best around; there's nothing she can't do! We take dogs of ALL breeds and ages, our current pack has members as young as 9 weeks and as old as 15 years.

We offer tours of the facility at almost any operating time, a call ahead is preferable but walk-ins are always welcome! 

Our doggy sleepovers are an extension of Central Bark Doggy Day Care services, exclusive to our regular day care clients ONLY.  We know your dog and they know us, reducing the stress, separation anxieties and other concerns associated with traditional kennel and dog boarding settings.  For these dogs, sleepovers are slumber parties with all of their friends in familiar surroundings.

Overnight stays at Central Bark include regular day care services.  Dogs spend the night in an appropriately-sized crate for comfort and safety.

The Central Bark Franklin is every dog’s dream get away. The Unkennel™ is our unique take on dog care, and it is nothing like any traditional kennel or any other type of dog boarding facility. We pride ourselves on providing the best experience anywhere for our four legged guests. Many activities are planned each day ranging from supervised play time with other dogs, human interaction, and even nap times.

Our Central Bark® Doggy Day Care Certification Program, which every member of our staff is required to undergo, is specially designed to teach techniques for socialization, obedience training, canine first aid, CPR, and animal behavioral observation to ensure the safety of our guests. Also, prior to any dog being placed in any group activities a comprehensive behavioral assessment is preformed. This is to ensure that every dog is placed with a group that has compatible play styles and temperament allowing everyone to feel confident and safe.

Bottom line, we play dog, speak dog, and be dog, at the Bark!

Your dog deserves to be pampered. Our full-service Franklin dog grooming salon is fully equipped to handle any canine, from the furriest to the not so furry. Whether you’re interested in our Barkley Dog Bath, a quick trim of the nails, or a more elaborate dog grooming spa treatment, we’re glad to oblige your request at our doggy day care spa.

Each dog, as with humans, is unique. As such, a dog deserves grooming that takes into account their size, breed, and unique needs. Prices for all grooming services may very as a result; extra charges may be added for matted dogs or those with particularly thick/dense coats, as more time and work is required to get them looking their best!
