It is the mission of the Angels With Tails Shelter Fund, Inc., a charitable non-profit organization, to raise monies to build, staff, operate and maintain a no-kill animal shelter in McHenry County to care for abused, neglected, unwanted, stray and otherwise homeless companion animals until they can be adopted into safe, loving homes.
Peggy King's life long dream and vision is to build a no-kill animal shelter in McHenry County. King sees the need for such a facility because our community and surrounding area is growing as is our pet population and our local animal control facility is overcrowded with abandoned animals.
