Four Paws Doggie Daycare is an indoor/outdoor daycare facility in which the dogs are uncaged and kept active all day. With approximately 15,000 sq ft of fun, Four Paws dogs are allowed to play with other dogs and humans all day,! The dogs are in a play group with approximately 12 other dogs. They are only caged if they need a time out, which happens relatively infrequently, or the parents request they be crated for a nap.
Send your pups to us for their own vacation while you're away! Our overnight guests enjoy the same all-day play atmosphere in our daycare. Multiple dogs from the same family can sleep together or separately, whichever you prefer. We have larger sleeping quarters for the biggest of dogs, along with cozier, smaller spaces that the little dogs can feel safe in. Our facility is fully climate controlled for the comfort of your dog.
Our guests are welcome to bring a bed or blanket for their stay. If your dog has a tendency to shred bedding, we can provide a comfortable cot.
Please send only enough food for your dog's stay, in pre-portioned baggies for easier and accurate feeding. We will also administer any necessary medication, at no additional cost. For the safety of your dog, all prescriptions must current and in its original container with proper instructions.
It is recommended that your dog attend daycare several times before boarding. We want to be sure that your dog will be comfortable in a large social group with other dogs. This ensures your dog's safety, as well as the safety of all the dogs in our care. In addition, it helps relieve the stress of a new environment, and helps us get better acquainted with your dog.
We offer a kennel-free, all-day-play daycare experience with experienced staff who are trained in dog behavior, pet first aid and CPR. The dogs are grouped together typically by size, but also by temperament. The needs of each individual dog are considered when our trained staff members put playgroups together. You may see a larger senior dog with the smaller dogs, or a small feisty dog with a larger group.
We have plenty of toys and obstacles for the dogs to interact with, along with our dog-loving staff, to make your dog's visit with us as rewarding as possible. Our first concern is always for the dogs in our care, and we carefully monitor their interaction within the groups. We make every effort to communicate with you about your dog's behavior. We may recommend shorter days for overstimulated dogs, or an older senior dog may benefit from a half-day instead of a full 9-hour day.
