We offer pickup and delivery for all of our boarding, daycare and grooming customers as well as door to door delivery of our highest quality of pet foods. Troy’s Stay and Play, created in 2004, is a luxury dog boarding kennel located in Ridgefield Bergen County NJ.
The Salon that opened it’s doors in 2000 is characterized by quality, offering the finest style of grooming workmanship, attentive client services, and humane pet handling. The Salon offers jacuzzi style bathing, hand scissoring, hand fluff drying and precision scissor cuts. Customers travel as far as two hours away just to have their dogs coiffed by Troy’s. The Boutique also carries all natural dog food and pet supplies.

Cat Boarding
We feed Solid Gold Holistic food only. If the customer requests we can offer home cooked meals which are beef, lamb or chicken cooked in broth with rice and fresh vegetables. Inquire with us as to the additional cost.
Troys Stay and Play Doggy Day CareHere at Troy’s Stay and Play, we understand the demands of everyday life, and we are here to help make sure your pet gets the best possible care!
We are also pleased to announce that we are the only kennel in Bergen County to offer an indoor doggy park. Our doggy park is 2,500 square feet of play area. The play area is covered with artificial turf which gives the feel of real grass. There are cage free pens in the park area for the dogs that enjoy a little snooze or just want a little time out – they can just go and relax on our Kuranda beds.
Troy’s Stay and Play has a Puppy Playground which is 1,500 square feet geared towards smaller dogs and puppies. Both areas are equipped with many exciting and motivating items so as to provide hours of stimulation and excitement for your pet.
We customize the daycare sessions so that you can choose either one-on-one personal sessions or group sessions, where the dogs interact in a happy, spacious, and clean environment. Our beautiful daycare room is fully equipped with a jungle gym, balls, and you can even choose the toys that your furry friend loves!
roy’s uses all natural, biodegradable shampoos and professional grooming techniques for all breeds of dogs. So, bring in your furry pet and let us groom him or her with lots of love and attention!
Part of our grooming service is to check the condition of your pet’s skin, coat, eyes, ears and teeth, and we can alert you to symptoms of common medical problems so you can consult with your vet early on. Regular grooming keeps your pet healthy and looking nice!
Our professional groomers take great pride in their work – we listen to your requests and follow them to the letter. We understand special grooming needs and are happy to offer solutions.
A full groom includes all of the following: a deep cleansing and moisturizing bath with the proper shampoo and conditioner for the particular coat and skin condition, ear cleaning and hair removal, nail trim, and a style to the breed standard or owner’s specification.
