Geronimo's of Nantuket

Geronimo’s, Ltd., Nantucket’s pet supply and gift shop, opened in May, 1991, by Jan Jaeger. Named after her Chesapeake Bay Retriever, "Geronimo", Jan opened the shop when she discovered there were no sources for pet products on-island.

In January 2017, long time employees of over 10 years each, Maggie Carro & Martina Mladenova, made the leap to take on ownership of both Geronimo's and Cold Noses.

You will often see Maggie and Martina out in the community walking their dogs. Maggie is the proud owner of Thor, the husky, and Martina is the proud owner of her two rescue dogs, George and Eme.

Over the years, Geronimo’s has become a fixture of the Nantucket retail scene, a dependable resource for those beloved companion animals and a must-stop location for anyone visiting the island.
