Our veterinarians and stylists work closely together, ensuring a safe and relaxing environment for your pet’s day at the spa. Veterinarians are often on-site to address any health concerns noted by our staff. Our groomers are also specially trained in recognizing medical issues of the spa guest. Should a concern arise, you along with one of our veterinarians will be contacted to address the medical needs of your pet.

At Polished Paws Salon & Boutique, the grooming experience starts as a consultation with one of our stylists. This helps us identify what type and style of haircut you prefer for your pet. Whether you elect to follow traditional breed standards, opt for the latest trend, or design your own brand new style, we are up to any task. Combining 110 years of grooming experience with frequent attendance to continuing education seminars, we are confident our stylists are up-to-date on the latest trends in the pet grooming industry. Polished Paws Salon & Boutique offers a variety of bathing options tailored to the individual needs of your pet. The bathing experience begins with our highly trained staff evaluating each pet’s skin and coat. After deciding what professional products are best, your pet will be placed in one of our state-of-the-art hydraulic bathing tubs. These tubs have been designed with an anti-slip surface and easy access doors, allowing your pet to safely and comfortably enter and exit the bathing area. Once your pet is happily in the tub, we begin with a hydro massage to fully wet the hair. Then the chosen shampoos/conditioners are applied, revitalizing and replenishing your pet’s skin and coat. Finally, a hydro massage rinse is used to remove all products. After bathing, your pet is dried with a high velocity dryer, fluffing the curly coats or blowing out the undercoat of the shedding breeds. A thorough combing is then performed, freeing the coat of unwanted matting and undercoat. A finishing spritz completes the spa experience.
