At Misty Pines Pet Company, we offer a variety of services for you and your pet. Your dog can play in our outdoor playground, swim in the pond, or hike on our wooded trails. Afterward, relax by the cozy fireplace overlooking our indoor training facility. With Dog Training, Pet Boarding, Doggie Daycare, Dog Park Grounds, and Pet Grooming services all in one place, Misty Pines Pet Company is designed to serve all of your pet’s needs. Dog Boarding
Misty Pines Pet Company offers first class dog boarding accommodations for your family dog. Our state of the art dog kennels are comfortable and safe. Each dog kennel has its own Nelson® automatic watering system continuously providing your dog with fresh water. Our canine guests are provided with elevated Kuranda™ beds, music, skylights, air-conditioning, and radiant floor heating inside and out. All dogs have 24-hour access to their own outdoor run that has radiant floor heating and is under a skylight roof to protect them from the weather.
While your dog stays with us they may participate in any number of optional activities. We have options for every dog’s demeanor and desire! Group playtime allow your pet to exercise and play with other social dogs in our outdoor play-yards. Playtimes are available in one hour, 4 hour, or 8 hour increments. We also make certain yards available for Private Playtimes for those that prefer a quieter experience. There are also solo activities such as walks on our nature trails or play ball time. A favorite for the smaller breeds is cuddle time, 15 minutes of one-on-one attention from our staff. Our senior boarders like this option as well.
Cat Boarding
Our cat boarding accommodations are designed to make our feline guests feel right at home. We provide a quiet atmosphere with a friendly touch. Our Pet Care Technicians will professionally care for your cat and ensure that he is healthy and happy. Remember, we care about your cat too!
Accommodations include cat condos with three different levels, large enough for multiple cats from the same family. Your cat may also pass through a kitty door to the other side of the condo for a different view.
While you are hard at work, running errands, cleaning the house, or even getting ready for that big event in your life, try our canine pavilion exercise yards. Dog daycare is a fun day where you bring your dog to socialize, romp and run, splash in the wading pool, fetch and chew toys and balls with other social friendly dogs and our professional staff. Dog Daycare offers dogs an opportunity to continually develop and instill great social skills, build confidence and tolerances, and gives your dog a wonderful outlet to exercise and interact.
Welcome to Misty Pines Pet Company where we have been successfully training dogs and their owners since 1975. Our continuing lifetime dog training programs are designed to enrich the relationship between you and your dog. We offer Group Classes, Private Lessons, Behavior Consultations, Boot Camp Training (2-week board & train), Daycare Training and In-home training.
With our solid understanding of canine behavior, the trainers at Misty Pines can help you to correctly interpret your dog’s behaviors. We will teach you to reinforce the good behaviors and eliminate the unwanted behaviors. The professional Misty Pines training team suggests positive techniques and innovative solutions for your dog’s training. Our trainers are certified and members of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.

Our professional groomers personalize cat and dog grooming by evaluating conformation and personality. Quality grooming includes our best efforts in every step, and it is equally important that your dog has received the best care and attention so that you are satisfied with the results.
For the DYI groomer, we also sell the shampoos, conditioners and finishing sprays that we use in our grooming salon.

We welcome you and your dog to the Dog Park. Run and play in the fenced-in playground, swim in the pond, and hike the wooded trails. Just register at the main office and pay $7 per dog per visit before entering the dog park grounds. Misty Pines provides water, but we ask that you bring your own bowl.
During the summer we can hike to the pond with your dog to cool off swimming and dock diving. This is also a great option for retrievers that need to work on their water retrieves or for those that are interested in dock diving training.
