Often purchasing several leashes or leads per year due to inefficiency, wear and tear or faulty design, he realized that due to the mass production of these items that the vendor overlooked the basic elements of a successful leash or lead; strength, durability, versatility and comfort.
Determined to make an item that would outlast him or his pet, he ventured off to create a home-spun hand-made dog leash that was colorful, yet versatile, heavy duty but most important long lasting.
As all of us dog owners, he walked his dog daily but with a new found and overwhelming confidence knowing that his pet was secure. Moreover he enjoyed the stylish bright look and comfortable feel of his new leash. More and more he was stopped by inquiring pet owners as to where he purchased his dog's leash. With frequent requests for the product it dawned to him that he was not the only frustrated consumer on the block.
