Tail Blazers

Carie and her daughter Holly (seen below) purchased and built the Copperfield Tail Blazers from the ground up in 2006. In the fall of 2015 Carie became full owner of the store. Before Carie became a pet food store owner, she was a Lab Technologist for 35 years. During her career, she spent 9 years overseas working in Saudi Arabia, and traveled all over the rest of the world during her time there.

Carie came from a small town in Manitoba, and it was always her goal to create a big city store, with a small town feel, and to fill her store with quality pet products and knowledgeable, friendly staff that our customers knew by name. When Carie isn’t in the store, she can be found riding in the mountains with one of her 4 horses, or at home with the rest of the crew consisting of 4 cats, 5 cows, 30 chickens and 2 dogs.
