Since 2006 Canine Connection has offered premium pet care services to the New Orleans area. Located in uptown, we are proud to offer the highest quality Overnight Boarding, Doggie Daycare, Bathing, and Grooming. Across from our boarding facility is a dog-centric retail store offering unique items for dogs and cats.

Canine Connection boasts 24-hour staffing, several spacious outdoor play areas, private air-conditioned suites, webcam monitoring, and an above ground doggie swimming pool.

Boarding for dogs includes outdoor playtime throughout each day in one of our 9 outdoor play areas. We offer several different space sizes and options including outdoor runs and webcams. Dogs that stay seven nights in a row get a free bath before pickup so fido comes home clean and ready to cuddle. Long term reservations for 14 nights in a row or more will receive a discount at check-out.

Cat boarding in our Cozy Cattery provides a safe and quite space for your cats while your away. Cats will receive individualized attention from our attendants throughout their stay including out of condo playtime. Long term reservations for 14 nights in a row or more will receive a discount at check-out.

Daycare is ideal for the social pup who loves to play and spend time with their canine companions. We offer 5 indoor climate controlled playrooms, and 7 spacious outdoor play areas. Playrooms are divided by size, and temperament. Daycare reservations are required.

Interviews are required for new Daycare participants and are by appointment only. Please contact us for availability and scheduling.

Prior to attending daycare, your dog(s) must be up-to-date with vaccinations (Distemper, Leptospirosis, Hepatitis, Parvo, Parainfluenza, Bordetella, and Rabies). All vaccines must be administered by a veterinarian and proof is required. Vaccinations administered at home will not be accepted.

All dogs must be spayed or neutered to participate in daycare.
Special requirements/requests may be extra.

Canine Culture is open for grooming by appointment Tuesday through Saturday. We recommend making your first appointment on a day and time when you can meet with our groomer to decide on your dog’s hairstyle. We offer several shampoo options to meet the needs of our canine friends, including those with sensitive and dry skin. For grooming quotes please contact our groomer at 504-267-4143.

Canine Connection offers dog bathing by appointment 7 days a week. Bathing includes a shampoo, a brush and blow out as well as a complimentary ear cleaning. Additional services are available by request. We offer several shampoo options to meet the needs of our canine friends including those with sensitive and dry skin. Reservations are required for all bathing services. We ask for pets to be dropped off no later than 11:00 am on their appointment date.

Canine Connection offers a unique, self-service dog wash station. Includes the use of our aprons, towels, dryer, brushes, shampoo, cologne, and ear cleaner for up to 30 minutes in the station.

Our pool is open daily from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm (the last reservation available at 5:30 pm) We offer individual swimming sessions for dogs who enjoy playtime in the pool. Dogs who are staying with us are eligible for participation by request and with an appointment. Owner supervision is required for dogs who utilize the pool outside of Canine Connection’s services. Reservations are available in 15 and 30 minute increments. Doggie life jackets, pool toys, and towels are provided.
