Since 1988, Animal House has been a family owned Pet Store and Animal Grooming business serving the residents in Atlantic County. Over the years, Animal House has grown with the community, offering products and services requested by our loyal customer base. 

All of our retail staff live in our local towns and are pet owners themselves. They all have a deep love for animals and are eager to learn and then share their knowledge about pet care with you.

What Makes Us Different?
People call or stop by and we talk to them about their health goals for their pets and recommend a variety of different foods that would work for their pets. If we don't carry what they choose, we'll bring it in and stock it just for them. We really spend time with our customers and we all strive to develop personal relationships that grow through the years.

We offer full service grooming for dogs and cats. Our team of pet groomers has over 30 years of training and experience.  They are skilled at performing show-quality cuts for most dog breeds.

Every new client will meet with their groomer to discuss all the details to ensure that you get the exact style and cut for your pet. Each pet is given a specific appointment time so that personal and professional attention can be given from their baths, to drying and brush out and then to the groomer who will complete their cut and style. We insist that the utmost emphasis is placed on the safety and well-being of each and every animal placed in our care; it is important for us to give your pet a 'happy' grooming experience and you peace of mind.

We are committed to helping each and every customer find and maintain a healthy pet that fits in their lifestyle. We do not believe that any pet should be an impulse, just because they look cute. That is why hundreds of thousands of animals end up homeless every year. We will be glad to discuss any breed dog or cat and help you locate a breed specific rescue or reputable breeder who has the needed health certificates. If you are looking for a specific bird, small animal or reptile come in and talk to our knowledgeable staff. Look at what we have in the store. We will help you and your child learn about each type of pet and their specific care requirements. Then we will make sure they get a healthy pet of their own!
