Valley Boarding Kennels was established in 1980 as a full service pet care facility located conveniently in South Windsor. Although a lot has changed since then, one thing remains the same; our commitment to providing loving, personalized, family-style pet care to your four-legged family members.

In fact, we take the time to interact with your pets getting to know each of them in order to make sure that their needs are met while visiting us. Whether you need to use our boarding services, professional grooming services, or doggie-daycare services you can rest assured that you’re pet will be safe, comfortable and well cared for while at Valley Boarding Kennels.

For your convenience, we are located alongside VCA Valley Animal Hospital and can often help accommodate routine vet care, but more importantly, should the need arise; we can accommodate emergency vet care right away. We have spacious accommodations for all our guests, both canine and feline. We do our best to personalize our services to fit your pets’ needs and offer different activities and services to make sure that all guests have options to customize the level of activity while staying at Valley Boarding Kennels. Although we do include walks and outside time for all our canine guests as part of the standard boarding, we also offer doggie-daycare for intense socialization and play, individual play sessions customized to your pet, cuddle time which is often great for our older, less-active guests, and extra walks in order to make sure your pets get the amount of time outside that they are used to.

Cats get to stay in spacious kitty-condos, completely separate and isolated from the canine areas. We also have an outside, fully enclosed kitty playscape/gazebo for those that wish to have they’re cats get some fresh air and playtime while also being able to do some serious bird watching!

Valley Boarding Kennels offers doggie-daycare to our clients. If your dog is social and behaves well with other dogs then bring your dog in to play all day while you’re at work, running errands or just to give your dog that outlet they need to burn off excess energy. Doggie-daycare offers so many advantages to your dog and can really alleviate a lot of problems as well.

How many of you are busy with work, kids, school, sports? The list goes on and on. Well while you’re busy with all those things your dog is sitting at home, cooped up or worse, in a crate while waiting for someone to interact with. Now after a long and busy day, the last thing you have is the energy left to give your dog the kind of exercise and stimulation they truly need. At doggie- daycare your dog will be playing both indoors and outdoors all day in a supervised setting that was designed specifically for dogs. When you pick up your dog he/she will be ready to take it easy alongside you... You’ll have the peace of mind knowing your dog had plenty of exercise and stimulation making relaxing and enjoying each other’s company after a long day a guilt free experience.

Our professional pet grooming services are available six days a week for your convenience. We offer flexible scheduling and competitive pricing. We welcome all breeds both canine and feline. Our groomers have extensive experience and continue to stay active pursuing their education and goals within the industry, in order to provide our clients the latest trends and styles. We’re also able to offer prescription shampoos and therapeutic treatments through our Veterinary affiliation, truly taking care of any of your grooming needs.

Your welcome to enjoy these services while you’re pet is boarding with us, which typically would be done on the day of discharge.
