Peninsula Pups Doggie Daycare, Inc.

Peninsula Pups has over 6,000 square feet of play space for dogs to get plenty of exercise and socialize with their canine friends.  Dogs are separated into three areas by size and temperament.  We accept dogs of all ages once they have passed our temperament test. Peninsula Pups also offers training and grooming so your dog can have some good clean fun!

Our special rubberized flooring is made of recycled rubber tires, reducing the amount of stress on the dogs’ joints, back and muscles.  It provides the safest cushioning and traction for the dogs while they are playing.  Each area is surrounded by six foot fencing and is secured with double gates to prevent any escaping.

Dogs are supervised by Handlers 100% of the time while at the daycare.  Management staff is trained and certified in canine first aid and CPR.  Our Certified Dog Trainer, Colin Keith, is on staff so your dog will receive ongoing training just being here!  Obedience classes are also available on weekday evenings and on Saturdays for dogs and their parents.

Peninsula Pups is more than just a daycare! We also offer obedience classes led by our Certified Dog Trainer, Colin Keith. Colin works in the daycare during the week and is an expert in dog behavior. He was schooled at Tarheel Canine Training in Sanford, NC and has over 20 years of dog training experience.  Colin is excellent at teaching you and your dog how to speak the same language. The commands learned are just a bonus, though. The real reward is the special relationship that is built between you and your dog when you train together.

Our professional Groomer, DeAnna Visalle, has over six years of grooming experience and was a Grooming Trainer at another establishment prior to working at Peninsula Pups.  She is very patient and has a gentle way with dogs.  Dee was also a Dog Handler at Peninsula Pups and understands dogs' personalities and their individual needs. We groom only one dog at a time, so the environment is quiet and not rushed.  This lets our groomer build a trusting relationship with your dog, making the groom more enjoyable for both. We welcome all breeds for grooming!
