I’ve had a passion for animals my entire life. My rescue dogs have always been my kids, literally. Our first furry child, a Wheaten/Westie Mix, we lost when she was almost 18 years old. I told myself I could never go through that again, but then shortly after we inherited our now 8 year old Cockapoo, Spencer, when my Mother-in-Law passed away. We struggled with ear infections, skin issues, and getting him to eat (dog food). It was then that I started to really research and study foods and supplements. Within weeks of getting him on the proper diet, he was a new dog and no more ear infections! We now have 3 happy and healthy rescued furry kids of our own. Along with Spencer, we have Daisy, a 4 year old long haired Jack Russell Mix and Mel a 2 year old Pit Mix. After being a pediatric nurse for almost 20 years, I was ready for a career change so I took my passion and love for dogs and a leap of faith into purchasing City Dogs in January, 2017. Having my clinical background allows me to understand and educate customers in regards to the specific nutritional health care needs of their pets. I truly love what I do every day and have never looked back!
