Our Story

The Healthy Pet Center was founded more than two decades ago in a small plaza on Route 4 in North Greenbush. Lisa Neal and her mother, Gayle, always loved working with animals and wanted to share their passion with others. This was their chance to live a dream!

Those early days of long hours and hard work resulted in loyal customers who appreciated the personal attention and Lisa's extensive knowledge of pet nutrition. As the business grew, Lisa shared that knowledge and enthusiasm for customer service with her employees.

Today, Healthy Pet Center has become THE place for pets and their people! Customers come in to visit, shop, and share stories.

In addition to an excellent assortment of healthy dog and cat foods, treats, and supplements, we offer a wide variety of toys, beds, grooming supplies, crates, carriers, and everything else you may need for your furry family member. Also available are small animal foods, treats, bedding, and toys, as well as bird seed and reptile supplies!
