Brothers Greg Keane and Tyson Keane opened their first Chow Hound store in 1989. Their vision was to carry only the best in pet products and supplies, and to also provide pet owners with good advice and guidance. “We wanted Chow Hound to appeal to people who regarded their pets as part of the family.” Fast-forward 27 years to today and now Chow Hound Pet Supplies has 10 locations. They are West Michigan’s largest family-owned pet specialty store chain. With this growth have come many new products and advances in pet food and supplies. However, the philosophy that started Chow Hound Pet Supplies back in 1989 is still intact: Helping people and their pets with quality products, product knowledge, and superior service is what we strive for every day at Chow Hound Pet Supplies.
