Purrs n Barks Pet Market is a family owned and operated business focusing on healthy products for your pets and our own treats (Urban Dog Barkery). We sold our first store several years ago and decided to try it again.  We wanted to be a part of making pets healthy their whole lives as well as supporting animal rescue.

This all started with our first rescue dog, Lady.  She was rescued off the streets in Houston and not in the best shape.  We were able to get her healthy by feeding her good pet foods. She turned out to be the absolute best dog ever.  Lady went on to become a therapy dog for ten years visiting the hospitals and sick children.  She lived to be almost fifteen years old thanks to her diet of Fromm food and other healthy items.   You could say she was a great spokes-DOG for these products.

We have gone on to rescue several other pets since Ms. Lady.  We help the others when we can.  Everything is taste tested by our current dogs,  Millie, Ali, Robbie & Rita and Teddy (all former fosters) !  We have been fortunate enough to be able to help other new foster faces that have come through our doors.    We keep our store fully stocked with Fromm dry and cans.

Oh, and we DO test on animals! It's a good thing.
