About Us
You could say we had a scrappy start. In 1994, Dolittles began in a basement apartment and we sold our goods at the local open market. Humble as we were, we had a noble vision: to help solve common household pet problems. In fact our very first item was a personalized leash holder that we crafted by hand. Fast forward to 1999 and we opened our first store. Right from the start Dolittle’s offered Charleston's first self-service dog wash and the areas largest selection of natural food choices. Flip up a few more years and you’ll find us selling alternatives to many pet products including training tools. That's about the time our mission statement came together.

Dog Wash
Dolittle’s self-service dog wash provides customers with a convenient and economical self-service dog pampering experience. We provide shampoo, towels, a dryer and grooming tools to have your pet looking their best. The dog wash can be used for weekly baths or a quick post-beach rinse off before heading home. Buy a punch card to save some bucks. Or better still, buy a bag of dog food and get your bath for just five bucks!
Home Delivery
We offer local delivery to addresses in the Charleston area.
There is a $5.99 delivery charge for orders under $50
Orders placed before 2:00 PM Monday-Thursday will be delivered by 6:00 PM.*
Orders placed after 2:00 PM Friday or on weekends will be delivered next business day by 6:00 PM.*
- *Orders placed on a holiday or Sunday will be ready the next business day.
Curbside Pickup
Curbside Pick-Up is available at all of our store locations.
Our goal is to fill Curbside Pick-Up orders the same day.**Orders placed on a holiday or Sunday will be ready the next business day.
If for any reason we are unable to full the order as requested we will email you.
You will receive email notification once your order is ready.
