Stone's Pet Shop

Stone's Pet Shop has been serving the Monterey Peninsula since 1957. It was started by Don and Nancy Stone, who were teachers in the Pacific Grove School District.

Thanks to the local community, and their support of local business, Stone's has flourished. We now have three retail stores, an e-commerce website, and a popular Grooming and Self Service Pet Wash.

The loyal Stone's customers have voted us the Best Pet Shop in Monterey County seven times, and Stone's is the only Green Certified pet store in Monterey County.

A grooming salon is only as good as its groomers. We have experienced, passionate groomers, and they have the best equipment available to them. We only take as many dogs as we can safely handle in one day, and only our groomers, or a bathing assistant, will ever handle your dog. Due to this individualized attention, we can book up quite a ways in advance. A regular standing appointment with the same groomer is encouraged.

Stone's Pet Wash is a state of the art dog bathing facility. Save your back with our raised tubs, and avoid the mess in your house. We supply aprons, shampoo, an easy-to-use bathing system, grooming tables, dryers, towels, a pet weighing scale, and perhaps most importantly, we clean up the mess!
