About Us

Four Legs Pets’ mission is to enhance the lives of our companion pet’s one pet at a time.

Four Legs Pets, Inc. is owned and operated by Stacy Pyrek of Gilberts, Illinois. Four Legs Pets is insured and bonded and is also a member of Pet Sitters International and National Association of Professional Pet Sitters. Stacy has experience both professionally and personally caring for a wide variety of animals. The family currently owns three adopted dogs, and an Australian Shepherd, two adopted cats, a reptile, a parrot and many horses. One of the four dogs has the Canine Good Citizen Certification.

Stacy personally trains their own pets, and uses many techniques at home to work with their dogs. For the past several years Stacy has been a member of a Dog Training Club and assisted some of her clients with behavior modification on their dogs.

Stacy is certified in Canine Hydrotherapy. She will be studying K9 Fitness in the near future.

Stacy is an avid reader of many pet journals, books, web sites and messages boards. Stacy has done some research on pet foods and pet nutrition and educates her clients about what’s in pet food and how to read and understand the label.

Services

Boarding

Our Gilberts location is home to our Boarding. Where your pet will enjoy day care during the day, loving attention from our staff and enjoy private sleeping quarters at night, complete with night time tuck in service, bed time snack, and calming music to ease your pet to bed.

Daycare

Bring in your pet for a day of non- stop play, activities, games, and lots of TLC! You can have peace of mind while your pet is supervised and cared for by our highly trained and knowledgeable Day Care staff. Drop your dog off before work, and pick up after. Gone for the day? No problem! Bring your dogs in for a day of fun! At the end of each day we update you on how their day went and any activities your dog participated in. Discount for multiple dogs, and full time dogs! All dogs must complete a free evaluation prior to the first day of Day Care. Day Care Services include:

Non Stop Fun

Activities (crafts, games, story time)
Meal feeding and/ or snack time (1 – 2 times per day)
Never ending Water supply
Free access to outdoor play yard

Pet Sitting

We can provide vacation sitting for weekend trips and vacations. Pets are best when they can be kept in their own home in their familiar environment. We strive to keep your pet on its current schedule which helps reduce stress. We do multiple daily visits (typically 3) each day to feed and care for your pet. Daily walks, play, feeding and love included! Watering plants, bringing in the mail and package delivery also included (no extra charges!!).

Grooming is offered at the Gilberts store. Prices varies based on the breed of the dog.

Our services range from Nail trims up to a Full Service Groom.
