We're The Shoppe Pets Purrfur, and we're much more than just a cute name (although we really believe pets "purrfur" us). We like to think of ourselves as meeting your pet's "feeds and needs," and we try to be a "one-stop shop for the overall well-being of pets" and a "pet wellness center."
We're pet-lovers who took our love for pets to the next level when we opened The Shoppe Pets Purrfur in August 2002. We know many people love their pets and unselfishly take better care of their pets than they do themselves. They love their pets so much that they are willing to do anything for them, and we made it our mission to help these pet-lovers by providing top quality products and services for their pets.
For most people, as much as they love their pet, business or personal needs require them to be away from their pet. Our Pet Sitting services allow your pets to stay in the comfort of their own familiar and secure surroundings while you are away from home. We provide TLC in the form of daily feeding, exercise and affection, and you won't have to worry about how your pet is adjusting to unfamiliar settings and the potential trauma of staying in a kennel.
In addition to caring for your pet while you're away, we'll pick up any newspapers, UPS packages or phone books left outside on your driveway or sidewalk, and we'll check to make sure the mail is not piling up in your mailbox, and we'll even water your plants.
We use soap and chemical-free shampoos in an open and clean environment. Our groomers are patient and caring, and we can work with even the most difficult or frightened dogs. No cages are necessary for socialized dogs.
If you want wash your dog yourself, we've got everything you need to do it right! We have two upright tubs with pet ladders, plus we have a shower stall for large breeds. We provide all the the shampoo you need, plus towels and dryer. We offer many shampoo choices – from oatmeal to tea tree to mango.
Our playground allows dogs of all ages (at least four months) to play with other dogs of various sizes and breeds in a fenced area, off leash, under qualified supervision. Dogs run and play and have fun burning off their excess energy, and their owners have fun too, sharing dog stories and training tidbits. Our Pets Purrfur playground hours are Tuesdays and Fridays from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
