About Us

A1 Pet Emporium Dog and Cat Food Natural Market is a locally owned and operated pet food and supplies store that specializes in unique, high-quality, natural pet foods and treats for your dog or cat. Helping finicky pets and those with allergies or digestive issues is our #1 priority. We also sell toys,collars,leads, grooming supplies and other accessories for dogs and cats. We have locations in NW Oklahoma City, South Oklahoma City, and Edmond, Oklahoma. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff can help you find the best food for your furry friend. We are Rescue Friendly and hold adoption events most weekends in an effort to help spread awareness about the homeless pets in our community.

The owners of A1 Pet Emporium founded their pet food store after discovering the real reason for their dog’s allergies was a well-known brand of food that contained ingredients like corn, wheat, and by-products that are not a part of her natural diet. They put her on a diet that was high in natural meat proteins with no corn, no wheat, no by-products, no soy, and no other cheap fillers. Her symptoms improved immediately and completely disappeared within a few weeks. Realizing that there were probably other pet owners in a similar situation, they were prompted to start their own Dog & Cat Food Natural Market so fellow pet owners could purchase high-quality food for their pets. Since opening their store in 2010, they have seen great improvement in the health of countless dogs and cats.

Veterinary Clinic

We have partnered with VIP Pet Care to come into our store every other Saturday from 330pm to 5pm.

VIP Petcare makes it convenient for you to get your pet the preventative care it needs! Use our easy clinic finder to locate a nearby clinic location, then bring your pet during the hours posted. Please bring your cat in a secure carrier and make sure your dog is on a leash. Clinics are held at local pet and feed retail stores, and no appointment is necessary. VIP Petcare staff will be located inside or right outside the store. When you walk up to the clinic area, our caring staff of pet lovers will walk you through the process.

We will also send you reminders so your pet can remain protected from disease and parasites. Your pet’s records are stored safely in our database so if you ever need proof of pet vaccination or have questions about your pet’s health history, we’re simply a call or a click away.

Once your pet is seen by one of our veterinarians, you will become part of the VIP Petcare family. During your visit the clinic staff will discuss the lifestyle of your pet, under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian, so you know exactly what your pet’s needs to stay healthy, happy and safe.

Pet Adoption

Just about every Saturday (and some Sunday's) we have local pet rescues in our store. There are pets of all sizes, ages, etc. We support local rescues and would like for everyone to think rescue when looking for a new family member. We also give discounts and giveaways for any animal adopted in our stores on adoption weekends. Adoptions are generally from Noon to 4pm.
