About Us

Pets To Go opened its doors in Sacramento in 1986. The store has grown over the years, and in 1996 moved a few miles down the road to Elk Grove, California.

Pets To Go has been owned and operated by Jeremy and Angel since February of 1998. Our store caters to animal lovers of all types. We sell supplies for dogs, cats, birds, fish and reptiles. We also sell rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, birds, and reptiles. Pets To Go provides the only self-service dog wash facility in Elk Grove. Pets To Go is also the home of our other business, Upscale Reptiles.

Services

Dog Wash

The private room allows you to wash your dog without any distractions by other dogs (or owners) in the room. Our waist high tub (no more backaches) has a walk-up ramp to allow your dog easy access to the tub. We provide you with hypoallergenic shampoo, grooming brushes, nail trimmers, coat blower, and an apron to keep yourself dry. We allow one hour for each dog you plan to wash. Don’t worry if your dog does not want to use the ramp, we’ll gladly help you lift him or her into the tub. Best of all, we clean the room when you’re done. You get to leave the hair and dirt behind. We highly encourage you to call ahead for an appointment.

Pet Adoption

Auto Delivery

Pets To Go currently offers local delivery (Elk Grove and Pocket areas) for a flat fee of $5.00.

If you are interested in delivery service, please contact us or call the store to arrange a date and time. At times, we are available to deliver same day, on most occasions your delivery will arrive the following business day.

The entire product line of the store is available for delivery. Minimum purchase for delivery is $20.00 (does not include delivery fee).

For delivery eligibility, Pets To Go must have a current credit card on file, and a signed authorization form. A receipt to verify the charges to your credit card will accompany every delivery.
