America's Country Store in College Station opened in October of 2005. This store is independently owned and operated by Close Quarters Feed and Pet Supply, a family-owned and operated business. Our family and team members have an immense love for animals and enjoy working with customers who share their same passion for their pets or livestock. We care about your pets the way we care for our own.

We know you can go many places to purchase items for your pet or livestock so we try to be the best in customer service and knowledge. Our goal is to help educate you on your animal's nutritional challenges and give you old-fashioned customer service with a smile just like it used to be years ago. Ask for our resident experts Erica for dog or cat questions or Bryce with livestock questions to guide you to the best diet for your animals.

Our stylists have years of experience styling and handling dogs. Making sure your dog is safe and well cared for while in our salon is the highest priority. Grooming is also essential to your pet's health and well-being. Samantha, our groom manager, has been with us since the day we opened our doors and works alongside several other highly talented groomers and team members to make sure your pet has the best experience possible along with looking their best when they leave.

Larry, our boarding manager and will make sure that your pet is well cared for by highly qualified and loving associates. He will provide you with the peace of mind you are looking for when you want to go on a family vacation or business trip or if you just need help overnight. Cleanliness and safety is our top priority when your pet stays with us.

Leaving to go on a vacation can be stressful, especially when you are looking for a place for your pet to stay. Instead of relying on your busy friend or family members, bring your furry friend to our boarding facility. Our caring staff will make sure that your pet is getting the love and attention he or she needs while you are gone. We aim to provide the most positive experience for your pet. When you allow us to care for your dog, we want him/her to have fun and look forward to being back should you need our help in the future!

At our boarding lodge, your pet will enjoy sleeping in a temperature-controlled environment with soothing music played in the background. They will be taken out five times a day to exercise in our securely fenced yard and supervised by our animal-loving associates.

Dogs are fed twice or three times a day (depending on your preference) with food that you provide from home so their diet can remain regular and so there will be no chance of stomach upset. Cats will have an endless bowl of food that you provide and their litter box will be changed and cleaned daily. Each room is furnished with a cot for their comfort to sleep and relax in. You can also bring their own bedding and toys so they will feel more at home or we will be glad to furnish bedding for them. Please be sure their items are labeled with their name.
