Westland Dog Food, Inc. is a family owned and operated business that was founded in 1968. An innovator in the pet food industry. Westland Dog Food has specially formulated private pet foods based on proprietary formulas developed with canine nutritionists at Cornell University.

In regard to the sale of puppies, just as we sought professional advice in the formulation of our pet food, Westland Dog Food seeks licensed breeders practicing the highest standards of animal husbandry. Westland Dog Food is in full compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Each dog and cat delivered to its new owner has a Michigan pet shop health certificate. Westland Dog Food has a licensed veterinarian examine each dog and cat prior to it being purchased by a customer. We take the time to explain the responsibilities of pet ownership and provide a health guarantee with each new puppy. We have successfully matched thousands of puppies with their happy owners.

Westland Dog Food employs a number of Westland residents and has been at its original location since being founded. In 1985 to better serve our customers we constructed our current facility. Over the years we have developed personal relationships with our vendors to assure the best quality for our customers.
