At Agway, we make it our mission to stock all things lawn, garden, and animal feed for the good folks of Imperial -- because one stop should be all you need to gear up to get the job done. Locals know us as the place to go for helpful service since our enormous inventory is matched only by our knowledge of each item. Bring us any question! Whether you're choosing gardening supplies or picking out food for your chickens, we're more than happy to guide you.
History
Agway made its appearance in Beaver County in 1987 when Chet and Sherry Whelpley purchased the business and property on Sharon Road, known at the time as Farm Bureau/True Value Hardware. Since 1990, the Whelpley's have continued service to New Castle, Butler, Eighty Four, and Imperial, where Agway stores were already established and, in 2013, opened an entirely new store in Ohio Township, Sewickley, known as Mt. Nebo Agway. We opened our Imperial location in 2007.
Meet the Manager - Chad
Agway has been in Chad's family for more than 30 years -- and frankly, that's the thing he loves about the business most. Chad has been the Manager of Imperial Agway since early 2007. He began toting feed to customers at age 12 and has over 13 years experience at Whelpley Family Agway stores. He holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Penn State University.
If you have questions about your pet's diet, Chad is the one to ask (from natural and holistic to basic pet nutrition). He also has a thorough knowledge of lawn and garden and equine nutrition.
