About Us

Chow Down started back in the early nineties in a tiny space adjacent to a car wash. The vision, spearheaded by Petra Davis, was to offer premium pet food with unsurpassed customer service. Petra’s passion for animals was equal to her desire to educate pet parents on the importance of proper nutrition and pet care. The pet industry has come a long way since then but the fundamentals remain the same: outstanding customer service, love of the animal and the importance of understanding the myriad of products and services available to our pets.

Everyday we strive to bring health and wellness to pets and a smile to your face. Being pet parents ourselves, we fully understand the love and friendship a pet brings to your life. Want to give your pet the VIP treatment? You’ve found the right place! Our grooming experts are the best in town! Rest assured that your dog or cat will be groomed in a safe environment by a professional with a deep understanding of animals. They make sure not to stress the animal out and even give them breaks!

For your convenience, all professional grooming is by appointment only! This ensures that your animal will be groomed in a timely manner. Please give us a call for an appointment. A quote will be given when the pet arrives as every dog is different and has his or her own unique needs.

Dog Wash

Would you prefer to groom your own pet? No Problem! Save your back and bathroom and let your pet make a mess! We’ll do the cleaning.

We provide you with your own private grooming station where you can comfortably wash your pet-big or small, short or long haired.

A 30-minute dog wash includes quality natural shampoo, conditioner, brushes and towels and drying stations. An appointment is recommended but not necessary. It does get fairly busy sometimes so save yourself some time and call ahead!
