Devoted to serving your family, both human and pet, we offer Curbside Pick-up, Local Delivery, and AutoShip services along with Grooming and Self Wash to help make caring for your pets even easier! We also specialize in Garden Supplies - offering everything from premium wild bird seed and beautiful bird feeders to festive flags and melodic wind chimes - as well as gifts for all occasions. Founded by Roger & Diane Oakes in 1970, both The Natural Dog and Nature's Emporium have been our family’s businesses for over 50 years and we've been proud to serve the Roanoke area with brands you can trust. For a professional job, bring your pet and leave the rest to us! We have in-house groomers that will love on your dogs almost as much as you do and will make your pooch look their finest!

The Natural Dog features a do-it-yourself dog wash station. Leave the mess to us and go home with a clean pup!

Home Delivery

Get free local delivery for orders over $59!

We deliver anywhere within a 10 mile radius of our store.

If you are unsure if we deliver to your area, please feel free to call.
We are always adding new areas to our delivery route!

Place your order by 6pm to be eligible for next day delivery.

Auto Delivery

Set it and forget it! Choose Auto Ship while shopping on our website to create a recurring order set to your desired schedule. It can be local delivery, curbside pickup, or shipping. You can easily edit your schedule, skip shipments, and add or remove items anytime.

Curbside Pickup

Make your busy day less busy with The Natural Dog curbside pickup.

Pickup is available same day if ordered before 2pm, otherwise the next business day, between 10am - 4pm.

  • Add your "Pick up person" and phone number at checkout
  • Get a notification when your order is ready
