We are a family owned and operated, proudly serving Livingston County since 2008. As a breeder and exhibitor of various animals; I have passed my love of animals on to my children through 4H and various networks. Working 30+ years in the retail pet industry, has given me a wealth of knowledge and advantages that I would like to pass on to my customers. Helping them understand that by proper nutrition and healthy alternatives our pets which are like family members can live longer, healthier lifestyles and spend less time at the vet, with a better quality of life.
Our staff is strongly committed to promoting animal wellness through excellent nutrition, herbal and homeopathic approaches which support the body's ability to prevent disease and promote overall health and vitality, which enhances the longevity of your pet.

"The Perfect Pooch" offers Dog and Puppy Training Classes, Agility, Behavior Consulting at Pet Xtras in Howell,Michigan. All classes are Family friendly and we encourge everyone to be involved with training. Positive reinforcement training is used in all classes. My goal is to help bridge the communication gap between dogs and their people. We only have a short time with them and spending time and having fun is an important part of their lives. Remember a tired dog is a happy and well behaved dog.

If you would rather bathe your pet yourself, we offer Bathe Your Own on Sundays. With all the amenities of home, the assistance of commercial bathing machines, dryers and brushes, along with a friendly staff to guide you every step of the way!
