Better Life Pet Foods was founded in 1995 with delivery to your door. In 1998 we opened our store front. Our most recent location at 315 Telshor offers Pet Grooming and Feline Boarding as well as the first Do-it-Yourself Dog Washes in the city. We strive to provide the healthiest pet foods and products available to our area with the best service, in order to improve the lives of our customers' pets. We offer delivery, in store or curb side pick up, and special ordering for almost anything not on our shelves. Professional Grooming services for all breeds is available 7 days a week. Our Groomers are all Pet CPR certified and AKC Safety Certified as well as the Salon. Our highly skilled groomers LOVE to groom and make sure every customers pet is treated with extra care as if they were their own.
We board cats in beautiful luxury Kondo's that are large enough to stretch and climb in. They have climbing trees for exercise and cubbies to hide in.
We also foster to adopt cats and kittens that come from our local non profit organizations such as The Cat's Meow and Action Program for Animals.
We have highly trained groomers that are all Companion Animal CPR certified. We love to groom and take special care of your pet in our salons. We hand dry and scissor finish your pet and do not use heated cage dryers. Our salon is AKC Safety Certified as well as all of our groomers. Our Groomers Kat, Nancy, Heather, Lisa, Donna, KC, Becca, and Anna have worked, rescued, and trained with dogs most of their lives and are very happy to take special care of your pet. Kat and Nancy specialize in grooming felines with over 16 years experience. All of our groomers go through continuing education on the latest styles from AKC Standard Breed to Asian Freestyle and we stay up to date on all safety procedures.
We have 2 dog wash stations. We supply the shampoo, conditioners, tub, towels, dryers, and clean up so you don't have to.
Our first dog wash we set up in our first store in 1999 with a raised horse trough and a borrowed dryer. We now have 2 full serve stations with adjustable dryers and amenities like blueberry facial wash and hypo shampoo.
We house adoptable cats and kittens that come from local non profit animal groups such as APA Action Program for Animals and The Cat's Meow.
We started out delivering to our customers doorstep and we still offer this service. We deliver on Wednesdays and Sundays for FREE with a minimum purchase of $48. We can deliver any day of the week and even the same day, just give us a call.

We carry a full line of cat foods, treats, walking harnesses and leashes, as well as vitamins and supplements. We specialize in all things cat. We have an in store feline boarding facility and have been grooming cats for over 16 years. Our line of feline litter products are all natural and do not harm the environment.
