For Your Fur Kids

For Your Fur Kids started as a partnership between Victor and Kathy Pundzius in November 2007.  Being passionate about our dogs and cats and concerned about what we were feeding our fur kids, we felt Windsor and Essex County was seriously lacking in healthy foods and products for pets; So we embarked on this journey to provide our area with “something different” from the usual pet supply store.

When we first started ten years ago, we branded ourselves as a pet boutique, with healthy foods, treats, supplements and unique gifts. As our company grew and Victor and I became more knowledgeable about the pet food industry our focus changed. We now brand ourselves as a health food store for dogs and cats. We have successfully helped many customers’ dogs and cats with dietary issues that veterinarians could not. We choose pet foods based not on how it reads on an ingredient panel, we look at the companies’ manufacturing the foods, regarding ethics, manufacturing procedures, quality of the ingredients, where ingredients are sourced, and if they manufacture foods in their own facilities. This is how we have differentiated ourselves from other independent, franchise and big box pet stores in Windsor and surrounding area.

Customer satisfaction and loyalty is very important to us. Our staff are trained with our philosophies and must stay current with what is going on in the pet food industry. It is very important to us that customers are completely satisfied with their shopping experience at our store.
