Bone-A-Patreat is a locally owned and operated Healthy Pet Market, carrying all natural cat and dog food, treats, toys and everything else your furry (and feathered) friends need! Owner April Lawrence opened the first store in Beaverdale in 2004 and moved to the current location in the Uptown Shopping center in 2010. In 2014, a second Bone-A-Patreat store opened in West Des Moines. We opened our 3rd location in Urbandale in 2018.
Come visit us at any location! We LOVE pet visitors as well–please have your pet on a leash and have them “take care of business” before coming in. :) If you visit our metro location, you may meet our Bone-A-Patreat mascot Kenai (unless he’s got the day off).
